METAL FORGERY
The Phillips Gauntlet is made from Ferrous Metal using traditional techniques like welding, hammering, and riveting. My process imitates historic Medieval practices with the concept of hand-made craftsmanship. The base is a leather biker glove, found in the depths of Manhattan. Material naturally ages as the metal acts as a reflection of time.
